Instructions of Swapping

How do I make a swap?

  • Once a photo and description has been uploaded, it can be viewed by others, (these can be sent to me at stampitswapitblog@hotmail.co.uk ) Please put the subject heading as “New Craft Item to Swap” and add an email address or your blog address (I dont mind advertising your blog!) to provide potential swappers with a way of communicating with you.

  • If you see an item you would like to swap, contact the swapper by email and, if the swap is accepted, swap postal addresses.

  • Please send items in protective packaging. I am all about recycling so if I receive an item in a reused package, that is fine by me and I encourage it, so long as the item is packaged and protected well.

  • After a swap has been agreed it is then out of my hands, so if a swap is not completed, I (Christine Pentley) cannot accept liability. I have set up this blog to try and integrate crafters and also hopefully swap and save between the craft community.

  • It is highly recommended to obtain a proof of postage certificate from the post office. This is free and proves that you have sent the item. An email to your fellow swapper might also be an idea just to let them know to expect their item. Second class postage usually takes a couple of working days.

I do hope this blog will work, it does require honesty and cooperation

Happy Swapping!!!
